This is a partial concert report. I'm exhausted but today was another successful fan experience.
The Glorietta mall show was scheduled at 6pm, but it started at 6:30pm. The delay might have been caused by Jason's visit to two radio stations. The stations are about 15minutes away from the mall, but with the traffic in Manila, especially along the main road (EDSA), the drive would have taken much longer.
Bits and pieces:
* Stephen did the soundcheck at around 6pm. Since the audience members were already settled in their seats, Jason didn't come out anymore. During the Trinoma show, the sound check happened before people were let in to occupy allotted seats.
* The set list was the same. It seems that Jason closes most of his shows with Hallelujah. I love his version, but I wonder if I'd walk away after a show with a different feeling if he ended his set with another song.
* First song - something seemed off; volume of the mic? Guitar? IDK.
* Fans were louder at this show, but clapped less during the more upbeat songs.
* I spotted Jason's dad on the sidelines, singing along to some songs. I also saw Jason's wife Mandy peeking from the sidelines, watching her husband sing. She also mouthed words to some of the songs.
* Right before Jason sang the first line of Hallelujah, a girl screamed "i LOVE YOU JASON!!!" Wow. Great timing. It obviously threw off Jason a little bit, but he was able to catch himself and managed to save the opening. I'm not against screaming "i love you Jason," but it could have been done at another time, not when he was just about to sing.
* The meet and greet was so fast! There was a group of kids who posed with Jason and he crouched down so the photo would look better.
* Initial show mechanics stated the first 100 CD buyers would get a CD signing stub, but the organizers allowed everyone who bought a CD to go onstage to get it signed by Jason.
* Jason gave out some shirts. I WANT ONE! I don't think they brought enough merchandise to sell so they just gave it away :(
* A fan also came with her own ukelele which had an I <3 JASON sticker on it. One of the bodyguards got it from the fan and Jason signed it!

I won't be going to Cebu anymore to watch the show tomorrow, so my next and last post on Jason's shows in the Philippines will be after Sunday night's show at Market Market.
Btw, I'll most likely just upload all the video footage I have after the last show :)
